Food security program

We operate a food security initiative for Seniors/Elders on low incomes and with mobility challenges thanks to cash and in-kind donations. We have had several corporate and individual sponsors to whom we are very grateful. These include iA Financial, Petrocan, Blue Cross, Thompson Community Foundation and Ridgestone Financial. Local schools have all held food hamper drives and contributed, as well. Thank you to students from R.D.Parker Collegiate, Juniper School, and Deerwood School. Local organizations such as the Kin Club and 100 Women have also supported the program with in-kind donations.

We are also thankful to organizations such as Northern Manitoba Food, Culture and Community Collaborative, North Forge, New Horizons for Seniors, Thompson Neighbours, and the Northern Health Region for their continued support.
